Looking for help with earlier details of a Samuel Peacock, given in the 1881 Census as b 1839, Stanford. His daughter Florence was my G.Grandmother and married a John Bywaters from a family based in Henlow. Details from the 41/51 censuses in particular of Samuel would be appreciated. I think Samuel married a Hannah Grey , b 1836 from Southill and IGI suggests that she was the daughter of William Grey and Ann Hewitt.

Florence's elder sister Mary Elizabeth was my g grandmother.
Samuel was born on 30 March 1840 at Broom, which is, like Stanford, a hamlet in Southill parish, and was christened on 10 March 1855 at Southill. He married Hannah Gray on 31 March 1860 at Southill. His parents were John Peacock b 1809 Old Warden and Ann Rook b 1812 Southill
Rather than list what I have on this chain I'll send you a message off board.
Regards
David
