Apsley or Apsley End, Hemel Hempstead
« on: Friday 13 November 09 19:31 UTC (UK) »

Hi

My other half and his sister both agree that they were born at Storey Street in Hemel Hempstead in the 1940's.  What they cannot agree on is the area this is in.  Is it known as Apsley or Apsley End?

Can sks please end this family discussion [lol] please.

Thank you for your time.

Regards

Half Pint

Hi Half Pint,

according to the evidence available, they are both right   Undecided

Just about every place around Hemel Hempstead seems to have been called End at some time  Grin
