If you were to bury three things for future generations of your family to find in two hundred years time, what would they be, and why?

I think 3 items from my 17c re-enacting kit. Now that would really confuse them.

The chest I have all my files in is big enough to bury me in too Jen!  I hope SOMEBODY will take an interest in it when I pop off...

My three things would have to be .. a CD of the family history.

A video with all five generations of my family on,2004.

And a copy of Jane Eyre, my favorite book of all times, just in case books are non existent in two hundred years time.

This is such a difficult question.

The family tree stuff of course is a must but how can you choose the other 2? There would be lots i would like to put in it.  Or is it me just being greedy?

Or to read in case you get buried alive! But there again you'd need a torch. And batteries. And a recharger, so thats more than the three things!

What about cremation? No point in having them with you then  Grin

Totally agree with you, my favourite book, you would also have to include a box of tissues Cry Cry

I would also bury my pc with all my family stuff on it, that way anybody finding it in 200 years time can also have a laugh at our (what will be by then) antiquated computers Smiley
