Could some kind person assist me in my research?
I need a lookup on the 1841 census for Holme, Huntingdonshire with particular reference to any members of the Debow/Deboo family.
Having spent many hours trawling through the online census records on Ancestry and being unable to find any reference to Holme, Huntingdonshire, I have today received confirmation from Huntingdonshire FHS that, although transcribed, these particular records have not been put online.

Hi
The 1841 huntingdonshire is online at thegenealogist.co.uk
I have had a quick look on the indexes and cannot find any listing under either spelling for Holme.
My Ancestors lived in Holme in 1841 and the on-line index for this gives the address as Holme, Norman Cross.
I have found a Deboo family living in the parish of Yaxley HO107/452/27 Page 23, where the index gives the address as Fen Street, Norman Cross.
Jacob Deboo, 45, Carpenter, Born in County (indexed as Joseb Deboo)
Mary Deboo, 40, not born in this county
Jacob Deboo, 15, Yes
John Deboo, 13, Yes
Mary Deboo, 11, Yes
Elizabeth Deboo, 9, Yes
Isaac Deboo, 7, yes
Is this the family you are searching for?
I will attempt to look through the Holme census page by page just in case the index has been transcribed incorrectly.

Yes, I have in front of me a copy of a huge DeBoo family tree (my husband is a DeBoo, so I am by marriage) and I have found one Andrew on it - I wonder if that is you? son of Anthony, son of Frederick, son of William John, son of Ephraim,(brother of William from whom we are descended, and brother of John from whom Frances is descended) son of William, son of Ephraim, son of Samuel, son of Abraham
I think Frances has PM'd you with the details of the chap who has put together most of the tree, he too is a descendant from the Ephraim, out of the 3 brothers.

Hi Jamie
Many thanks for your speedy response to my post and for the information provided. I had already found this family online at Ancestry, although according to that search, they were living in Yaxley, just down the road from Holme. I am not sure whether they are related to my ancestor but will research it to find out. Likewise, I will also look into your posting about Private James Deboo.
