Hanwell Cemetery photos offer
« on: Sunday 26 November 06 14:04 GMT (UK) »

There are 2 large cemeteries near my home, one belongs to Westminster and the other to Kensington and Chelsea, both built out of those boroughs to help with overcrowding. I can't do lookups for the cemeteries but if you know of an ancestors grave there I would be very happy to take photos

(please note I can only do the Hanwell cemetery mot the Gunnersbury one)

Hi Louise,

Just spotted this (Sunday was my birthday so other distractions!).

I have 3 of my family in the Kensington & Chelsea cemetery:

John Henry Howard  Section 114 no 10

John Howard (his grandpa)  Section 120 no 13

John Kingsman Section 166  no 86  This is a Commonwealth War Grave  so he will certainly have a headstone but I'm not sure about the other two.

When I lived in the Hayes/Uxbridge area I was only a child and had no interest in family history; now I have the interest but am in Dorset!

Photos would be wonderful; John Howard senior is the "Russian John" of my photo.
