i have the second edition of the V.R.I as i have come to a standstill with my own research I will do lookups most counties covered some better than others

Can you Help???!!!!
I have a William Bateman born Ware, Herts in 1712 married Mary Elsom 1731 at Bengeo - then also one getting married to Ann Lambert in Great Amwell in 1795 - but a rather large gap of 64 years in between with no Batemans in the Ware Area.

loads of batemans too many to send no William Batemans for 1712 loads of different spellings also for that name

Am wondering if you can find :
William HURST b. abt 1819 in Wigan (he married an Elizabeth Pickering in 1841)
Alice Ormshaw b. abt 1831 in WIgan father was William, mother unknown
and also not sure if this applies here but James HURST b. 1882 (maybe 1883) in Wigan parents are Thomas HURST and Ellen nee BRyan
Whatever you can find will be most appreciated!!

cumberland is not very well covered there is loads of Hurst's in lancs. I am working on your

I am looking for anything on ELSIE EMMA (AKA ELSIE EVA) HICKS, born Sussex c1890 and married a FRAZER (FRASER) between 1915 and 1919 somewhere.
I am also looking for a death of Henry James HICKS post 1901, born 1886c in Sussex
Any information would be appreciated, This lady is my HUGE brickwall
