Hiya Martha,

Angus was schoolmaster at Altandhu in Coigach, just south of Assynt, in the 1841 census. You can see the family there in the annotated transcription of the Coigach censuses at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~coigach/n41altan.htm#10

The notes there are based mostly on information researched by a descendant, Mary McFarlane, and include a link to her contact info.
