Esther Johnson was born in Eton Wick in 1846. She married Reuben Dean in 1865 but he died in 1866 in Windsor District. I can't find Esther in 1871 or in any later census, neither can I find any re-marriage or her death,
Her parents were both dead before 1860.
Can anyone help please?

Did Esther have any children - Edmund and Charles?? I can see one Esther Dean as a lodger with her two children, Edmund was born in USA and Charles London, in 1871 there are in Reading, Berks.
Esther was listed as a widow.

I don't know whether Esther had any children. I don't know where she was in 1861 but as she would only have been 24 at the time of the 1871 census I am fairly doubtful about a child born in the USA. Can you give me details of the ages of the two children please.
