 I am seeking household detail for Samuel Wilkes b c1787, Edwin b c1819, Samuel b c1816, William b c1813, Charles b c1823. Wilkes and Wilks spelling both relevant. Samual Snr a Pinmaker and sons likely Cordwainers. All believed born in or near Gloucester City. St Catherines etc.

1841 and 1851 detail equally relevant to establish movement and marriage etc. Household detail to establish subsequent marriages and offspring.

Thanks, all valued information. Charles in 1851 was in London, Westminster. I really need 1841 records to achieve some family continuity, it seems 1841 Census is not so readilly available.

I have had positive responses from 1851 Census for both London and Gloucester of my Wilkes family. What is the status of 1841 census records, or are they not available? Such a result for 1841 would be most helpfull as I expect this information to provide some timeline linkage of family movement and Marriage/Birth connections, unfortunately one years records don't provide such connection. I need to go back from 1851 not foreward. I already have included Freeman records to establsh Father/Son connections and am attempting to compare various records available to confirm lkely results. So near yet so Far !!
