Hi!
I have a Mary Drought born 1806 Loddington, Leicestershire, who married Henry Kibby on 25 Dec 1824 at St margaret's Leicester. Henry is in my direct line - father of my g grandmother.
Does anyone know, can can anyone find out about Mary's parents or siblings for me please?

Nothing showing up using resources to hand.
But if you can wait till this time next week
then I can have a look at the Parish Registers for you
at the Records Office Wigston.

I used to stay in the Vicarage of Loddington back in th 1950's
when it was a Y.H.A. Hostel. beautiful old house.

I did look at the Parish Baptism Registers
For St. Michael & all Angels.
Loddington. Leicestershire.

The closest I could find was :-

BAPTISMS :-
ANNO DOMINI 1806.  

4th. Entry :- 
Mary Daughter of Joseph & Sarah Hill …..Sept. 23rd.
I must admit the “ Daughter “ could have been taken for “ Drought “
Not your copperplate hand writing on this page.  Cry
 
Also checked out All Saints East Norton next Village up the Road
But drew a blank I’m afraid……...
