FLOYD/CHESHIRE Family - Lacey Green
« on: Wednesday 06 December 06 19:04 GMT (UK) »

I have a John Floyd, b. 1823 in Princes Risborough - living in Lacey Green.  As far as I can tell he married a Mary Ann (b. 1815 in Thorncombe, Devon) in about 1841, who must have died before 1861 - because in 1861 he seems to be married to Sarah Cheshire (b. 1840 in Eaton Bray, Beds).

Can anyone confirm my guesses, especially Mary Ann's surname and the two marriage dates?

John's father seems to be a Joseph Floyd (b. abt 1796 in Buckinghamshire) who appears on the 1841 census in Lacey Green married to Jane (b. 1801 in Buckinghamshire).

Any info on either would be very useful!!

Thanks for looking Heywood, but she's living with John in 1851 (schoolmistress in Lacey Green) but gone by 1861 (because Sarah's moved in!)
