tenants of omeath 1865
« on: Friday 08 December 06 16:43 GMT (UK) »

Hi
Does anyone have a copy of "tenants of omeath 1865" JCLAS volXVII, 1, 1973.
I would be very grateful for a look up for the Marley family (Laurence/lawrence) and McCullough (James).
Thanks
Lizzy

Lizzie,
See the attached. There are Marleys mentioned and a McCullagh, but none with the Christian names you give.
Regards,
Brendan

I've just noticed that the date is 1765 and NOT 1865 as your posting heading suggests. I guess these are ancestors of "your" Marleys and McCullaghs.

Brendan

I'm going off on a bit of a tangent now,
my Grandfather(Daniel Fearon) had a younger sister born 1869 called Julia who married  a Marley ( first name not known) she was born in Omeath Co Louth, Marley could have been her 2nd husband. McGuire being her first, Thats all the information I have on her, As you had Marley, Fearon, and Omeath in your message, Thought I'd add my Two penneth.
