« on: Saturday 09 December 06 20:42 UTC (UK) »

Hello  Smiley,
Would it please be possible for a lookup for Daniel Dickie on the 1881 Census. (No credit left for Scot. Peop.!!) He was b. 1834 West Kilbride and in 1861 was in Tower Lane, Rothesay as a grocer.
Regards,

Hi Inchworm

The family  are at 12 Bridge Street Rothsay

GROS Ref 558 5 2

Agnes Dickie, 42, widow, grocer and wine merchant, b.  Saltcoats, Ayr

With 5 children, 4 visitors and a servant.

Do you want all their details. Obviously Daniel has died.

Thank you so much for that Gadget. Yes, a lot of typing.  Grin
So many people too. Don't know who the Binnie family were.
All the kids were still at home except for John Dickie b. 1859. Don't know where he was.
I can't seem to find any marriages for the children. With most of them having the middle name of Chalmers,  (all except John & Daniel) thought it might be easy.
Thnks once again,
