Hi Charlotte and Kath: Just got infomed that a reply had been posted and thought I'd post my own. I noticed that there was a "Harrie" Gill on the SSDI--from Rhode Island. I didn't think it was your Harry, but perhaps you want to look for yourself.

Kath, Probably is Wendell Jnr's wifeand son, as you suggest.
The 1930 Charles R is Charles Russell- there must just be one son by those initials who gets named slightly differently- sometimes as Charles R and others as C. Russell. had me foxed . I think that is clear now.
