1851/61 Census lookup Flamborough/Bridlington
« on: Tuesday 16 November 04 21:51 GMT (UK) »

I am looking for  ANN BERRY born 1847 Flamborough - approx age 4 on 1851 census and age 14 on 1861 census.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Minty,

I don't know if we have a connection but I have a family called Berry.
My particular interest is Eliza born 1855 in Flamborough (I have birth certificate) daughter of John and Alice Berry.

There were 2 daughters called Ann, one christened in April 1842 and the second christened  November 1843, I assume the first Ann died.  If this is your family there are several more entries for them on the IGI.

Hi Bee,

It does look likely that we may have a connection - but it I will be sending for the marriage certificate of James Allcock to Ann Berry to confirm that John is her father given the slight differences in her ages recorded on the various censuses.

I'll let you know when I get the certificate.

Thanks,

Minty
