I am looking for the birth of Sarah Malton born around 1816 in Bulphan, Essex. She married a Charles Aylen around 1847ish and lived in Orsett. She died in 1855.

Looking for conformation of information and possible index listings.

The surname could be spelt Molton.

Hi Swifty Lad,

I've found, on www.familysearch.org, the christening of a Sarah Malton on 6th November 1814 Langdon Hills, Essex. Parents Daniel and Sarah.  This is an extracted record so should be accurate.

If my memory is working Langdon Hills is not too far from Bulphan; although it's a few years since I was in that part of the world.

Did you confirm the marriage for Sarah...as the BMD said Charles Aylen..
Sarah Blake....The IGI extracted file says Sarah Blake or Sarah Molton... Sarah Blake's entry looks more like a 2 438 to me...but didn't see Sarah Molton/malton under that page either...Curious!  J.J.
