Hi
I'm researching the Hall family of Devonport, going back from my great grandfather Herbert William Hall born 1870. Have got stuck at Lydia b 1836 (his mother, born Pennycross, surname unknown) and Jacob Hall(born Yarmouth 1834)
I'm also interested to find other Halls with the middle name Holland. My grandfather was Frederick Holland Hall, his Devonport uncle had the same name. Don't know where it comes from, but apparently the family split into Holland Hall and Holland Hill (according to my grandfather, but no evidence found).
