Gerald Harold ROSE bc 1911 Dorking

Does anyone have any information on a Gerald Harold ROSE bc 1911 ,probably in Dorking .He is very likely the son of Alfred ROSE and Ada CHEESMAN.
However there  is some suggestion that his mother might be a woman called Ada Amelia ROSE.

Does anyone have any information about these people? Especially about the parentage of Gerald as his birth can't be find(by me at least) in the birth registers.
He was christened in Dorking on 28th January 1912.

yes thats him.
At the christening the parents were given as Alfred and Ada.However it's suspected that Ada Amelia who is always given as as his elder sister(she is 20 years older than him-b 1891) might actually be his mother.All this would be sorted if the birth certificate could be found but as I said I can't find it in the birth reg.I don't know where to go next.I want to try at 1st to do this with as little expenditure as possible,Christmas has emptied the pockets Wink
