Please help if you can.  Am searching for any info on the following:

Sarah Ellen JEFFREY married Joseph Henry ORCHARD in 1878 at St Peters, Southampton.  She was 'apparently' born 24.12.1854, Southampton.  Her father was John JEFFREY, a Steward.

Would love to be able to get past the brick wall I've hit with these JEFFREY'S, so will be grateful for any new leads.

have you managed to find them in any of the Census returns ??

Thanks for your suggestion.  I have searched through any online Census Info, but have not found anyone who could be Sarah Jeffrey and of course a bit hard to know with John Jeffrey as don't have date of birth and it's such a common name. Won't give up yet!

I have a stray Orchard which may interest you. She was on the 1881 census of my g-grandparents in Lewisham. She is Charlotte Orchard aged 62 a widow born in Henley Castle, Worcester. she was an annuitant i.e.e she received a yearly amount to live on probably from her former employer or her husband's former employer.
