Census info - Frederick Richard Kitto
« on: Wednesday 17 November 04 18:12 GMT (UK) »

I am trying to trace Frederick Richard Kitto who left Cornwall in the 1800s and went north.  Does his name appear on any Cheshire census records before 1878 please.

Hi Freddy,

Can't seem to find a Frederick Kitto on the 1871 census in Cheshire, Cry but there was an Edward J Kitto born in Cornwall who was in the Royal Navy based in Cheshire.  Would there be any connection? Undecided

Emma

Thanks for that.

Edward J. might be part of the family.  Have you any further details please?  I would like to investigate further.

Hi,

He was on board Resistance - there are 18 pages to the census entry, I've got the page Edward is on if you'd like it.  Just send me a PM and I'll email it to you.  There is little information on there but it might be worth having.
