You never know it could be IE7 but I think unlikely. I have had IE7 for some time, and it was only a few days ago that this problem occurred. And I think Kerry uses Firefox, so that is another brick on the scales saying it isn't IE7. The RC server/webspace is Linux based.
I am sure all will be revealed soon - Trystan is on the case with his magic fingers.

Hi Julian
I too have had IE for some time and had not experienced problems. However, we downloaded an upgrade about 2 weeks ago and since then I've had connection problems hence my query to the people at FT. They stated that it is the latest version that is causing connection problems.

Julian's right, I use Firefox all the time. Don't touch IE except at work and that is under duress!!!

Suddenly I can no longer access corklinglum.rootschat.net with Core ftp lite.
I find the address, but when I try to login and put the password I get user authentication failed
The page works with the browser fine and I can log into the pgpview admin.
I can log into the web space manager ok, but file manager page is blank when I get there.
Any Ideas as to what is happening?
I don't recall changing any password, but I'm beginning to think I must have done, perhaps in a senior moment

I have just logged in to the RootsChat webspace and managed to access file manager. Looks like Trystan's nimble fingers have solved the problem, at least in part (don't know whether you can access with FTP program though).
