Hi All

In my family history research I have come across, a link to North of the Border.
Today with some excellent help on the Lancs Site, I have now got the 1841 census for 2 Scottish Families, and dare I say it, they are in my Scousers Family Tree.
Both families had close ties, and possibly moved to England at the same time, both Heads of family, were Building Tradesmen. so maybe moved with their work.
The 1841 Census  details are >

1841 Finch North's Building, Islington Liverpool.

Thomas Myers. age 28 yrs Stonemason. Dumfries Scotland
Jean Myers age 26 yrs Wife. Dumfries  Scotland
James Myers age 9 yrs  son Scotland
William Myers age 7 yrs  son Scotland.
Thomas Myers age 2 yrs  son  Liverpool

Finch St. Jacksons Place. Islington Liverpool.

Thomas Young 30 yrs Joiner Dumfries Scotland.
Elizabeth Young 26 yrs Wife Dumfries Scotland
Jane Young age 10 yrs dau. Scotland
Sarah Young age 7 yrs dau. Scotland
Mary Ann Young age 1 yrs. Liverpool

1830 Marriage 30 th Dec Dumfries Scotland.
Thomas Young & Elizabeth Jardine Scott

I know I am asking a lot, but anything at all pre 1841
or pre 2006 for that matter would do HA.HA. No seriously though apart from the Liverpool Research I have no information at all on, dare I say it my Scottish Roots.
