Marriage of Thomas Bunting & Margaret Connor 19.May 1861 Manchester.

I am looking for the parents of the above.

Father :Abraham Bunting for Thomas   Mother: ?
            Peter Connor for Margaret       Mother:?

Thomas was born Stockport
Margaret possibly Ireland?

Any help with these appreciated

Don't know if this helps but when seaching for a birth for Thomas Bunting Stockport on http://freebmd.rootsweb.com three showed 1850 and 1853 I ruled out too young to have married in 61 so that left
Thomas Bunting Birth Sep 1841
Stockport Vol 19 Page 292 you could order saying father Abraham and if this is not the one you only pay £4 instead of the £7 should it be the right one one well you're up up and away. I will have a hunt on the census for you see if we can have any luck Smiley

Yes you are correct with Thomas Bunting Sept 1841.

As before he married Margaret 19.May 1861 Manchester

Died 26 Nov 1867 Manchester.

I acquired Marriage & Death Cert copies before I moved abroad.


I no longer order any certificates as the postal system here is abysmal & it has cost me a small fortune on certs that never get here.

I just hoped that someone on Rootschat may find Abraham & spouse in a source I could not access.

Anyway thanks a lot for your efforts
