Still looking for the elusive Garfields

Newton/Tinling Gateshead
« on: Friday 22 December 06 18:58 GMT (UK) »

Hi everyone
I have a marriage for Nicholas Tinling and Margaret Newton in Newcastle in 1876 with 9 children's births up to 1893 (all in Newcastle).
Done and dusted  Smiley

However...a trawl through the BMD's on ancestry has turned up several children born to a Tinling/ Newton combination in Gateshead born between 1916 and 1921.
These births would probably be too late for my Newcastle Tinlings and I wondered yet another of my Newton family had married into the Tinling clan.
I cannot find an appropriate marriage in Gateshead
Can anyone help please? I would like to send for a marriage cert, before starting on birth certs, if it is one of my Newtons.

Sylvia

And a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all who have helped me during the year and to those who write such interesting posts....keep me occupied for hours when the rellies are being difficult  Cool
