There are many Lambs listed at Tydavnet Church but I imagine you are interested also in Lambs' relatives. Those who married Lambs, the history of the 'Lipton house' where the Lambs of Mullahara lived would be of interest, the Lambs of Lambs Lake (i.e. Derrynagrew), the relative (named Lamb of Knockboy) who last owned the Bachall of St. Dympna etc would all be of interest (that data is in Donagh Church Records) - it is wise to be aware that the recorded data is more likely to be accurate. The Church Records copied to CD are all done with the approval of the Churches concerned, which means that the Vestry Books are searched also & data entered. Sixteen Church Records have now been transcribed to CDs & are currently being sent to many Exiles all over the world. As an ex-teacher & history enthusiast I wish to make all this data available to interested Exiles.

There are lots of Jacksons in North Monaghan - Tydavnet even has a Townland called "Drumcoo Jackson" & Jacksons lived there. These are the Tydavnet Church of Ireland listings for JACKSON - Mullylera - Henry & Mary (1823), Rafeenan - McManus & Mary (1833), Allagesh - John & Anne (1836), Christopher & Mary (1840), Allagesh Richard & Maria (1844) & Allagesh - John & Martha (1874), Foremass - William Irwin & Mary Jackson (1838), & at Tullaghan - Thomas & Elizabeth (1850) The Ballyalbany listings are - Drumcoo (Jackson) - Davis Jackson & Rachel Rock (1808), Tirnaneill - William Moles & Jane Jackson (1823), Listraheagny (later at Kilnamaddy)- Joseph Jackson & Mary Gilliand (1845), & at Sheetrim - John & Elizabeth (1881). There are more Jacksons listed, of course, in the Church Records of both Tydavnet, Ballyalbany & all the other 14 North Monaghan Churches now available on CD - detailed study is only possible by using these CDs to trace the various different families. This is the first & only time that the 16 North Monaghan Churches have been copied in this way with the approval of the Churches concerned.

There are two Telaydans - one in Tydavnet which has several Jacksons listed in the Church Records of both Ballyalbany & Tydavnet Churches. The other Telaydan is in Donagh Parish which is more likely to assist you in the queries about Middletown Churches & the Eakins. The Glennan Church is also on CD & contains many Eakins & Jacksons in that area. All of these Church records are on CD as negotiated with the Churches concerned. The data on some of these CDs also includes a brief history of the area & even the Griffiths Valuation of 1846-64

OK as you know, Genealogy never ends so contact me direct & I'll see if I can solve your dilemma. I have sent out several hundred CDs & I don't know who you are yet.
