Help with Russell family in WA

I am researching my late husband's family from WA.  His mother was Ivy Annie Russell , born in Perth, and who married William Alexander Cooke in Sydney in 1938.

Ivy Annie's father was Martin William Russell b. 1879, who died in Sydney while visiting in 1954.  He is burried in Perth.  Her mother was Ethel Clara Wiland Busch, accidently killed in 1919.  Martin William Russell married again to Mary Brook in 1923.

Martin William Russell father was William Thomas Russell and his mother's names were Ellen Mary (?).

I have no idea where they came from, or how they got there.  Searching of all the possible sites I can find has given me nothing definitive.

Ethel Busch's family possibly came from Germany.

Can anyone help?

Have you been able to purchase any certificates yet?

I had a look @ NSW bdm site, early WA records site, Karrakatta and also National archives and I did find a interesting file on a Ernest Talbot Busch with a next of kin being Ethel Busch circa 1914. However I don't think this is your lady as the location at the time was Moonee ponds Vic, though you never know.

Certainly sounds like they moved around abit.

I will keep looking for you today.

I am waiting on William Martin's death certificate which was issued in Sydney.  Otherwise this family has me baffled.

William Martin appears in two of the Wise's Post office directories with one listing him as a plumber, and there is a Henry Busch at the Empire Hotel, Murray St. Perth.
That is about all I know.
