Leaping a possible generation back, these two look good candidates to be her parents.....

From IGI, batch number M037341

Samuel Bright married Phebe Clark 24 Oct 1780 St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth

Recorded children for this couple, same church, were (C037341)

Sarah 23 Jan 1786
Nancy 1 Sep 1787
Mary 15 Mar 1789
Thomas 16 Sep 1793
Jane 29 Mar 1795
Samuel 9 Nov 1797
George 15 Sep 1799

And check out

Phebe Briglet 29 May 1791, same church, parents Samuel and Phebe, fits in very nicely between Mary and Thomas.............transcription error???   Roll Eyes

Hi

This could be William and Phebe -

Found this entry on 1841 census, Little Hampton Street, parish St George's Birmingham, Warwickshire

William Edge, 60, shoemaker,  N (born out of county)
Phoebe,  50, grocer, N
Sarah, 20  Y (born in county)
Charles, 15 Y (born in county)

Ref: HO107/1141/2  folio 6, page 5

NOTE: The 1841 census doesn't state place of birth only whether born in county - also doesn't state relationships and ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 years!

Regards, Graham
