On census returns my great grandfather, Thomas Tighe, always gave his place of birth as either Rugby or Coventry. His father was Peter Tighe, a tailor. Peter died aged 29 in 1850 in Salford Lancs. In 1851 Thomas was living with his grandparents John and Mary Tighe in Salford. Can anyone link this family with Rugby or Coventry? I have not been able to find Thomas's birth, which would have been about 1849, and I have no record of who his mother was. Any refs to Peter Tighe (or Tye) would be of interest to me. Thanks
