Hi,       Thank you for your reply. I think it maybe around 1790-- 1815, that is about the best I can come up with.

Hi Dexter,

Just like to clarify something you say here

Quote
I am searching for any information on a William Jacka who married a -----Gray around 1790-1800. The only other information I have is that they had at least one daughter Elizabeth, born around 1830.

Seems too long from a marriage in 1790-1800 to the birth of a daughter in 1830  Undecided

Do you have any idea of the parishes involved? Does Elizabeth appear in any Census Records? The only William Jacka I have find found marrying 1790-1800 is

William JACKA = Margaret WOOD 12 May 1790 St Germoe

Hi    Kris,        I have just found out that William Jacka was BORN around 1797 and Catherine his wife was born around 1800. I am sorry I must have read the dates for their marriage incorrectly,so I hope this may help in finding this family.

Hi Dexter,

Do you now know that Williams wife was Catherine Grey? Do you know where Elizabeth was born? William or Catherine - do you know where either of them were from? Do the family appear in any English Census that may give us a clue? Anything you can tell us may help.....Kris  Smiley

Hello Cornish brethren
I have a mystery for you. My g-g-g-g-g grandfather Abraham Jacka was born in Paul, Cornwall in 1803-1872. Supposedly his father is John Jacka circa 1761 and His wife Honour. I need Honour's last name. If you could also find John's father it would help. This is athorn in my side for sure.  I am going bald pulling out my hair!
Warmest regards from Texas,
Deb
