Have a look at the 1911 Census for Whitehouse etc - found a family of Fitzgeralds

Sorry a bit rushed for time - I mean to have a look at the TOPIC 1911 Census for Whitehosue Drumadrough etc Here it is:

1911 Whitehouse D.E.D. 124/7 (files 1-4)-8 Townlands: Ballygolan, Drumnadrough  FHL BRITISH Film
1999411  [Seems to contain others like snippets of Ballygomartin Glengormley, Ballysillan Upper, Ballutoag Templepatrick - confusing!]

Robert 35 and Margaret Fitzgerald  33 with children Ellen Jane 14 David 12 William Robert 11 Margaret 9 James 7 Mary Agnes 5 Sam ?? [not sure if I mixed some up] 1  COI 16 years married 7 children all alive All Co Antrim Labourer and Mill Worker.  Ballysillan Upper

Just to say that there is ref to a Thomas George invoicing the workhouse in Antrim 2/10/1851 for coals in Extracts from Minute Books Antrim Union.

Found 1911 Fountain Street ANtrim Thomas George yarn Bundler 36 and wife Annie 35 married 10 years 2 children both alive - Sam? 8 and James 6

Hello Fiona.
Hope that you do not mind my jumping onto your thread. I have just found out that my ggg grandfather was possibly born in Greencastle, Carnmoney, 1830.

His name was JAMES WYLIE. Just wondered on the off chance if any more Wylies were still around by 1911.

James eventually moved to Scotland and settled here.
