John Vincent Harding and Mary Harding were siblings born between 1795 and 1805 in Surrey. John married Ann Stay and they lived at 103 Long Lane Bermondsey from 1841 to 1861. Mary Harding married James Alexander Goff and they lived in Waterloo. He was a chairmaker. She died in 1842. y greatgrandmother Emma Eliza Goff was 6 at the time of her mothers death. In 1851 Emma was living with her uncle John Harding in Long Lane and in 1854 she came to New South Wales. Her siblings James, Sophia and Frederick (born between 1829 and 1839) possibly went into an orphanage and their father lived alone until his death in 1874 at 48 Granby Place Waterloo. I can't find him in the 1871 census of Waterloo. Is anyone else researching this family? Hellen
