I am looking for death information on a few people. They seem to have died prior to 1855 so I am not sure where to look. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Elspet Paterson died sometime between 1851 and 1855. She is listed as 59 years old in 1851. The family lived in Newseat, Culsamond.
Peter Stuart/Stewart born in Ordiquhill Banff August 1794 seems to have died betweeh 1851 and 1855. He was living in Midton, Insch.
His wife, Margaret Stuart b. in Aberdeen, died in Insch between 1841 and 1851.

there is a detah for an elizabeth paterson in culsomond - could that be her?
no trace of either of the stewarts being buried in insch

I'm surprised the Stewarts weren't in Insch!
Elspet can be a nickname for Elizabeth so the one you found in Culsalmond could be her. Would you please post those details?
