Hi everyone, i am looking for information about a John Mathieson, John married his 1st wife Alice Doran.John and Alice were married in 1917 in Inverness.
Alice died in Dumbarton aged 30 1927 at 3 george st .
John and Alice had a young family of 4 who were put in a home (saint B?)not sure if the home was in Dumbarton.
John then maried Mary Doran,Alice,s sister dont know date and took children out of home. would really like to find information about family.
  Hope someone can help.

I have come across info regarding the Doran family.I am trying to find a link between the Doran family and Sarah Greer who was the mother of Ellen Greer who married my grandfather Daniel Logan.
James Doran married Jane Borland in Lisburn Co Antrim April 1878 Both born in Ireland
In the 1901 Census of Scotland the children were Mary age 19, Jane age 10, John age 8, Alice age 4yrs, All children born Dumbarton Also in the house a nephew age 20yrs James Doran born Ireland. The address was 98 High St Dumbarton.
Mary Doran DOB  19th Sept 1881 The address is difficult to make out Bi?Huh?? Land Glasgow Rd Dumbarton
Jane Doran died age 24yrs 14th Oct 1914 of TB death regiastered by sister Mary
Address at death 33 Levenhaugh St Dumbarton
Alice Doran married John Matheson 24th Aug in Inverness. Johns parents Duncan Matheson and Mary Macmillan Matheson

The mother Jane Borland Doran died age 58yrs 17th May 1920 at 33 Levenhulme St of TB and fatty degeneration of the heart. her parents were John Borland and Jane kennedy

Sorry,misspelt address where Jane Borland Doran died. It was 33 Levenhaugh St. Dumbarton
