Interesting stats (for a change!) - confirms my thought that most people still use IE - as its easier to carry on than change.
Now where was that programme that I can get, so I can read my site stats?

as its easier to carry on than change. Many computer users just use what's supplied, i.e. IE.
They have no interest in computers apart from using it, "as is". (Same with most car owners as well, probably)
This is why I find it great that so many are using the opportunities here, with their free RootsChat webspace, to do "that little bit extra"
RootsChat Webbies Rule - OK !!!

Think Bob's your man on that Keith. He told me how to do it back in early August 2006
You have to register and download the code that they give you and put it on your pages - can be invisible.
Getting confusing, ain't I

Hi Keith,
to avoid cluttering up this thread, have a read of this topic, started by a certain G****t :
Topic: Stat counters http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,175138.0.html
and we'll carry on from there.

Hi Bob,
Will Do
Ho downside,
I don't think it been mentioned that I should remove the line - it was mentioned that o one 1 page I HAD removed the line!!
I did that thinking it was another bit of extraa code that MS Front Page had put in!!
Can you (or anyone) check this page in IE7 http://batemans-history.rootschat.net/surname_index.htm
Does the border go all the way down and the banner at the top?
Cheers
Keith

They look exactly as you say, Keith.
On Browser use, 25% of my visitors over the last two months have been IE7 users. Over the last month it's increased to about 35% of my visitors . Indeed IE7 has now almost caught up IE6.
