Hi Maree,
I don't have a lot on the early Parmeter family but have listed below what little I have if it is of some help:-

William Joseph Parmeter  with possible wife Mary/Ann Wilkes
Their children:-
Henriette b.1816
William George b.c1818
Francis John b.1819
Eliza Harriet b. c1821 Gosport Hampshire, died Adelaide 1876.  Eliza Harriet being the wife of Charles John Dollman.

Hello,
I have just started to look into this line of the family but the fact that Eliza was born in Gosport and so was Thomas so I will keep digging and will give you any information I find.
