Help please -Marriage Look Up

Hello.

I am looking for a Marriage look-up from Essex Parish Registers for a Robert Sach/Saich baptised Village of Takeley County Essex in 1814. He was the 2nd son of William and Maria Sach/Saich ( nee Day)...I think he may have married a lady named Ann Brook/s perhaps in Waltham Abbey, but this is only an assumption.....

My purpose in seeking information from the Parish Register is to find out if Robert's fathers name was William and born Takeley. Huh

I received a Birth Certificate of a William Saich born 23 June 1840 to a Robert Saich ( Farm Labourer ) and mothers maiden name listed as Ann Brooks... the birth was registered 16 July 1840 @ Edmonton in the Sub District of Waltham Abbey, County Essex...

I live in Australia and cannot access this information.. I do hope someone may be able to help me..as it is Robert Sach/Saich that I am researching...

Heres the marriage cert that you can order
Robert Saich to Ann Brooks in Qtr April 1840 in Edmonton Page 65 Vol 3(Sorry havent got access to the parish records)

If William is Roberts Father the baptism is on the link above given by Frances.

Robert Sach 18/09/1814 Parents William and Maria Sach Father Labourer,Takeley

Silly Question but where would I order a Copy of the Parish Registry for this Marriage? in Essex or London.

May I once again ask for assistance Please !...... I need " Fresh Eyes" to look at the situation as I am running around in circles and perhaps looking into things that are not there...

I have obtained a Marriage Certificate of a Robert Saich( not Sach as in the Takeley Parish Baptism's) to Ann Brooks June 6th 1840 in the Parish of Waltham Holy Cross. It states Groom Robert's Father's name William Saich(not Sach) Deceased. Rank or Profession of father Labourer. was married to Ann Brooks aged 19 years... fathers name James Brooks. Labourer....
I also have a birth Certificate for a William Saich born 23 June 1840 son of Robert and Ann Saich (nee Brooks) registered @ Edmonton sub district Waltham Abbey- County Essex.

Yet another Certificate sent to me of a William Saich from the USA - son of Robert and Ann Saich ( nee Brooks ) ( 2nd Marriage) in New York USA 6th Sept 1897 which states he is a "Widower."

Can anyone help me with the following.. as there are a lot of similarities and I know a lot of Sach/Saich families in Takeley Essex around that period.. so I could be researching the wrong family...and will have thrown away 6 years of research...

1. Death of William Sach/Saich ( Father of Robert) before 1840.
2. Death of Ann Saich ( nee Brooks)
3. Marriage of William Saich ( son of Robert & Ann Saich)
4. Death of William's (son of Robert) wife before 1897
5. How can I confirm that the Certificates I have of Robert Saich is in fact the 2nd son of William and Maria Sach of Takeley. County Essex..with the Marriage Certificate that I have.

Anyone of the above questions that could be answered may hold the key to my search...I just don't know where to start and I'm like a cook with it's head cut off". .LOL.

Hi Faysie,
In case you get really desperate, I noticed there were quite a number of Saich & Sach entries in the Chelmsford PRs. The spelling of the surname fluctuated quite a bit i.e. the spelling appeared to be as the various recorders thought it should be, rather than simply a change over time. These were in the ERO's Seax on line PRs, below is the post by Marymog which includes the URL for the site.
