approving website space-how long on average?

Hi guys,

I understand that Christmas and New year is a bad time for volunteers to be spending the precious time to approve my webspace, but is there someway of making sure that it is all going ahead?

I'm not sooooo worried about the time it takes, i just want to know that it is all progressing and i havn't lost the web space name.

i have entered it into the "make a website" screen and it says it's taken, so i guess it is moving along.

Just me being a wory wart i'm sure.

If you imagine how long it should take, then I'm afraid I'm absolutely dreadful at allocating webspace quickly. We had a long spate of people from the Far East trying to register space so that they could set up innapropriate websites. Generally I see patterns emerging when I leave it a bit, so 'rejecting' these users is easier.

My next planned allocation of webspace is Friday 5th Jan (tomorrow) so the wait for you I hope is finally over.

don't worry, i want a family history website... the naughtiest thing on there is illegitimate children and lying on certificates....
