I'm trying to find the maiden name and parents of Henry J Brown's wife (Agnes dob abt 1870, Place NK in Staffordshire).
1901 Census shows family living in Attercliffe cum Darnall (an area of Sheffield) and Henry being born Shropshire abt 1866. I think Henry was born in Wem and in 1881 was living in Skelmanthorpe, Yorkshire.
His son Edward Brown born 1900 was my grandfather and he used to say his grandmother was called "Mrs Moore'.
Am having no luck in finding details of a marriage between a Henry Brown and an Agnes Moore ... can anyone assist please or advise on where I could look?

Thank you all so much. Have found information from postings much more reliable! My elderly mother now admits she gave me the wrong information and the correct surname was Booth. I can now carry on with my research.
