It seems to be OK now. Looks like it had been having connection problems. Perhaps they were updating site.

It let me in 3 minutes after it refused you!  Maybe you've got high security settings on your computer? My settings are at 'medium'.  I also looked for my names - unfortunately not there - but of course!

Just a suggestion because everytime I get an automatic Microsoft upgrade it changes my settings and sometimes I can't get onto my favourites.

Happy New Year,

My apologies for all the problems with the web site  Smiley

My village finally has Broadband - except that I may live too far along my lane to be able to get it!

Sooooo, in all that has been going on over the past few weeks The Suffolk Surnames List web site is currently being hosted by my web partner Ray.
I had hoped to reach 500,000 visitors over Christmas - but with the crash I lost my counter  Sad

I shall soon be updating the Links and Resources pages of the Surnames List so let me know of anything to be added (Yes, I know more information about Rootschat will be added).

Also, the Cosford Database has just been updated and includes more villages which are on the extreme edge (that is outside) the Cosford Hundred.

Here is a note from Ray

.....The Cosford Database has now been fully updated.  I have just added 3 more villages  Felsham, Shimpling and Stoke by Nayland. There is not much information on these 3 sites, just families that have connection to places elsewhere on the database

If you find any connections PLEASE contact me as there could be much more information on the main database. The Notes on my database contain Marriage details, Census information 1841 - 1901 and much more......

Best wishes everyone,

SM ...
