A Scotlandwide search for children born to a Peter McGregor and a Mary Grant only come up with one couple - note how they tie in with what you have already.
All are ch. dates in Kirkmichael, Banff, Scotland - all are 'extracted' - all have both parents names. All surname McGregor. Possibly your couple?
James ch. 13 Jul 1735 Margaret ch. 25 July 1736 Marjory ch. 13 Sep 1737 Katerin ch. 16 May 1739 Gregor ch. 12 Aug 1740 Peter ch. 02 Sep 1741 Mary ch. 31 Aug 1743 Marjory ch. 21 Aug 1745 Jean ch. 20 Aug 1747
Regards, Steve - shall send you a pm about IGI searching. :O)
Just back off the IGI - there is only one entry relating to marriage for the above couple - an 'submitted' one which seems to indiacte that the above Peter McGregor was born abt. 1712 in Banff. Am also aware of Gadgets post - regarding Peters d.o.b (However, take all submitted records with a pinch of salt . I've a relative who on a 'submitted' record was born in Scotland, I am able to prove was born in England :O)

I've now done a global search on SP (don't trust IGI submitteds without an SP check) and have found a more likely baptism - I did a search on P M*cgr*g*r all Scotland 1710-1724, rather than restricting it to Aberdeenshire:
Cromdale and Inverallan, Moray 4th May 1712 Peter McGrigor s/o Grigor McGrigor and Janet Roy.
