Flooding in Victoria square 1842

I have done something similar, by only printing mums and dads to me and the wife, and continued with that, I can get the whole tree on 8 x a4, then separately i have 2 or 3 sheets with all the kids from each family's, then the whole thing is stuck to wallpaper lengths for ease and so i can add people and dates as they come in, then i reprint when the whole things looks messy with my scribble.

This looks a good site to buy A4 binders when you've printed off your tree:
www.my-history.co.uk/acatalog/Family_History_Book_Making.html
I thought I'd get copies of my tree printed by www.genealogyprinters.com and then buy some binders, print off all the information I've collected about all the ancestors/descendants stories etc, including the tree from genealogy printers and make up books for my children. As I've 6 children, it will be quite an expensive exercise, but I'd like them to see what I've been doing all these years.

but i know what you mean about older members of the family trying to keep up watching a dvd.. i had enough trouble teaching my mum to text message!!!![color=Blue
I am not so sure that this is correct. Being in my mid eighties and relatively new to a computer and the rest of the techno stuff, I find that after doing FH for the past 32 years it is the younger members of the family who ask me to enter everything because I know it all!!...despite updating them on any newer info which is discovered so that it can be entered into their tree.
However. I have found that Roots Chat is something that most of need.
Just flying the flag for THOSE OLDIES. We can still learn!!
