Is Shepherd the same as Souttar in Scotland
William Watson born 1836 at Longside 
This is the same William married to my Elonor Munro 1859
Pitsligo
On their marriage certificate his mother is Elizabeth Shepherd on Family Search his mother is Elizabeth Souttar
Just wondered if it was the same person

Hi Gary,
I have only started on this side of my family and some are helping me on another thread
On Williams marriage certificate to Elonor Munro I have is
Mother Elizabeth Shepherd Deceased his father William is alive and a crofter this is in June 1859 William is 23 from St Furgus and I have looked at the map and Longside is near
Have a look on the other thread and you will see William was with James Cramon at the age of 5
