Hi,

Does anyone know where I would be likely to find the burial records for All Saints Church, Heathfield from 1900 onwards?

Many thanks

There is a nice site here about All Saints, Heathfield,
http://www.heathfield-allsaints.org.uk/
I would think the burial records would be at the East Sussex Records Office in Lewes.
I'm not sure what information you're after but the death certificate would have more information,

Thanks Jane.

The site on the church is good. Next time I get down to Sussex I plan to get my Dad to take me on a trip down his memory lane.

Best wishes

Hello Jane,

I'm hunting for the grave of my Great Gran Elizabeth Grace Hemsley (nee Farnes) who I believe is buried there. She died in 1913. Her husband Albert is probably there too but he died a good deal later. I know they lived in Stoney Cross which is part of Heathfield.

You are right about taking a recorder. Maybe I will. I never remember what my Dad tells me!!

Best wishes

Brig

I have all the info but sadly no pictures of that side of the family. Shame as I'm a Hemsley. I have pics of all my other Great Grans. Dad remembers which house his Grandad lived in.

Thanks for all your help.
