...hi help needed if possible....i want to try and find if margaret griffiths born 1760 was born in liverpool or cheshire...she married william oakes on12-10-1779 in st oswalds church,backford,cheshire....she had 7 children..
elizabeth oakes 1780
john 1782
mary 1785
william 1787
thomas 1790
samuel 1793
richard 1795
all the children were born in backford...
she died in LIVERPOOL ,but was buried in backford,cheshire..
she was buried in st oswalds church on 1-10-1834 aged 74.........why was she living in liverpool aged 74...was she originally from liverpool~?? regards...allan oakes

thanks peter...i must be going senile,because i`ve just spent an hour on csc,researching ..and i couldn`t find margarets birth...i`ll check again...regards..allan

The short answer is yes, she could have married at 15 or even earlier, but I think the record you found is for a baptism not a birth, so she could have been born years earlier.
