Can anyone help with a query.

Bridger MARSH married Elizabeth MAJOR 7/6/1731 at St Marys, Portsea.

By 1734 they were in New Timber, Sussex.

I am trying to locate if they had a son Bridger Marsh born between 1731 and 1734

Does anyone have access to the PR's that could check, or point me to where I can purchase a copy.

Thanks
Adrian

Hi Nell

Yes.  I am related to both their husbands.

I am covering a few "Bridger Marsh" trails that looked promising.

This one in particular bacause our Bridger Marsh signed his own name at his marriage in 1760, which was unusual for the time, so obviously educated.

The father of Bridger Marsh that married in Portsea was a Parish Clerk in Edburton, Sussex so again likely to have been educated.

As our Bridger married in Lamberhurst, the Edburton/New Timer / Sussex link seemed likely.
