I've researched a lot of my family back to Hartland.  Don't know if you know about this fab website, www.genogold.com

Its been a huge help for me.  The Hartland databases for BMD are really good.  Just had a quick look at the births for Mugfords in Hartland and it goes back to 1559!  http://www.genogold.com/hartlandbaps/hartlandbaps.php?search_fd7=%3D%3DMugford

this is unrelated to the Mugfords request but thank you for the web
site to the Hartland records. A lot of my famly are from Hartland and
you have just made my job a whole lot easier
