We have managed to trace my wifes family back to Stephen Ping 1818 born Cranfield,now have come to a stop can anyone help going back further,any info welcome ACKY Huh

You can search for them at this web link.

If you look at the left hand side and see I.G.I. ( International Genealogical Index)
hopefully you can go through the stages from there.

Most of the family seem to be there.
