Searching for information on a circa 1805 marriage of a Thomas Auchincloss (born ca 1783) to Elizabeth McHutchon/McHutcheon in Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton. Interested in names of the father and mother of bride and correct spelling of her name.
I believe the parents of Thomas were John Auchincloss and Ann Millar(?).
Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You could wait until the end of the month, hopefully when the OPR images for Scotland go online. Elizabeth's parents (perhaps just father) may be recorded on it. You probably have this but:
THOMAS AUCHINCLOSS Spouse: ELIZABETH MACHUTCHON Marriage: 26 OCT 1805 Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton, Scotland
And children to this couple:
WILLIAM AUCHINCLOSS (both submitted) B. 01 JAN 1813 C. 07 FEB 1813 Clachan Of Campsie, Stirling, Scotland Parents: THOS. AUCHINCLOSS & ELIZABETH MC HUTCHON
ELIZABETH AUCHINCLOSS (extracted entry) C. 09 APR 1815 Campsie, Stirling, Scotland Parents: THOMAS AUCHINCLOSS & ELIZABETH MCHUTCHON
Added: The closest deaths I can get for them:
- William, 1883, aged 65 (three years out), Barrhead, Renfrew.
- Thomas, 1858, aged 83 (eight years out), Airdrie, Lanark.
Since we don't know how old Elizabeth Snr was, or who young Elizabeth married, it's hard to find certs. for them.

Thanks for your response. I didn't have some of the information included in your post.
I am interested in Elizabeth Auchincloss my ggg paternal grandmother. She married a Alexander Mellis.
I wasn't aware that Elizabeth had a brother William. Maybe he can lead me to the missing relatives.
I am stillnot sure of how to spell Machutchon. I have seen the names spelled various ways.
Thanks again for your response to my post.
