Hi.
would anyone know if Andover Parish records have been put on to c.d..I am trying to locate early birth records and possible marriage records around 1680 time.
I have a Richard Collins of Andover. marrying a girl from Faccombe in 1702. would like to try and find Richard's birth.
would appreciate any information on this. JUNE.

Thre is no one single source for these.

Andover baptisms (gap 1798-1813) have been transcribed and indexed by LDS and are included on BVRI2 - available at Family History Centres and also to purchase (along with lots of other records!) - see this thread:

Also included in the index are transcribed marriages: 1687-1770, 1813-1876.

Hampshire GS has its own Burial Index (to 1837) on CD as well as baptisms 1813-1841. The burials are included on the Family Hisotry online site:

http://www.familyhistoryonline.net

Hampshire GS has also produced a Marriage index 1813-37. Earlier marriages can be searched by HGS members by contacting the society.

I can't see a baptism in Andover for Richard Collins. He may have lived in the parish at the time of marriage, but he may not have been born there.

A Richard Collins was buried in Andover in 1714 but no age given. Another in 1725.

Christened c1682 Faccombe

Daughter Ann Collins b.1714 Nether Wallop Hamps.
Christened 27/nov/1714 Andover. diddyee.

Faccombe parish records show a marriage between Richard Collins & Alice Read 25.5.1702 - I think (connection is not great) they are my 6xgreat grandparents. CLDS lists 9 children between 1703 & 1717

my guess would be that the burial in 1714 is of Richard s Richard & Alice Collins as I have a ch of 27.11.1714 for him & a ch for Jane collins 20.2.1717 d Richard & Alice Read
