I am looking for parents and siblings of Alfred William Barnett born February 16, 1897 in Newington, Southwark. (Just ouside of London, England.)
Alfred went to Canada year unknown and died in Manitoba.

1901 Scotland is online at www.scotlandspeople.gov.au
It is a pay to view - although you can search to see if any results exist without payment. To look at the results payment is required.
There are 2 matches for a William Barnett age 2-3, none for Alfred or Alf* - but I only looked at the exact spelling of Barnett

Although 1881 is on CD the only other place I would think of is FreeCen - but they don't have 1901. The prices on SP are quite reasonable, your cousin may well agree to pay for the search. I explained it to a friend who wanted some information & he instantly started spending money (had to calm him down  )

Sorry if I made anyone run around in circles and waste their time but I was given the wrong information on this person.
Alfred William Barnett was actually born Feb 16, 1897 in Newington, Southwark (just outside of London, England).

That would be spelled Southwark, just in case you are trying to search it and aren't getting anywhere.
